Bruce Craze defected to Restore Britain on 29 July 2026, saying Reform UK "no longer resembles the party which I stood for" and criticising what he described as weakened policies, internal divisions and poorly thought out motions. Reform UK''s local leader responded to the resignation, and calls were made locally for a fresh election. Craze retained his seat under the new affiliation.
