Patrick Lambert was elected as the Reform UK councillor for Norham and Islandshires in Northumberland in May 2025. The whip was suspended in late September 2025 pending an investigation into an alleged breach of Reform group rules. He was later expelled alongside fellow councillor Nicole Brooke, during a period of reported disarray in the party's Northumberland group. Reform UK did not set out its findings publicly.
