Stuart Niven - Holyrood candidate for Dundee City West (Reform UK) — suspended | Reform Watch

Stuart Niven was announced as Reform UK's candidate for Dundee City West in the 2026 Scottish Parliament elections. He was suspended less than 24 hours after the candidate list was published on 20 March 2026. Niven had been disqualified as a company director for seven years after diverting tens of thousands of pounds from a taxpayer-backed Covid Bounce Back Loan into his personal account while director of Britannia Maritime Security Ltd, a Glasgow-based shipping security firm.
