Christopher Charles Sherriff Harborne (born 18 December 1962) is a British businessman and political donor based in Thailand, where he holds citizenship under the name Chakrit Sakunkrit. Educated at Westminster School, Downing College, Cambridge, and INSEAD, he built his fortune through aviation businesses (Sherriff Global Group and AML Global) and early cryptocurrency investments, including a reported 12% stake in Tether Limited. His name appeared in the Panama Papers as an intermediary linked to offshore accounts. Harborne was the largest political donor of 2019, giving more than £6 million to the Brexit Party. In 2024 he gave £5 million to Nigel Farage, which later became subject to Electoral Commission and Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards investigations. He donated £9 million to Reform UK in 2025 and a further £3 million in March 2026, bringing his total contributions to the party above £22 million. In September 2026 he pledged to match a £36 million donation to Reform UK. He was ranked 6th on the Sunday Times Rich List 2026 with an estimated fortune of £18.177 billion.
