Alan Feeney sat for Castle Bromwich on Solihull Council and Shard End on Birmingham City Council. He joined Reform UK from the independents at the party's conference in September 2025. An ITV undercover investigation filmed him saying his ward was "infested" and calling Asian families "absolute parasites". He apologised and resigned every council seat he held on 16 October 2026.

ITV undercover filming broadcast on 14 October 2026 showed Alan Feeney, then Reform UK deputy mayor of Solihull, calling Asian homeowners in his ward "parasites" and saying the area was "infested". He said he would not knock on doors with Asian names, that no more than 1% of the British population should be non-white, and that Asian people should be "dragged out of their homes" and put on planes to Pakistan. He had left Reform two days earlier "for personal reasons" and remains an independent councillor.
