Councillor Graham Eardley was suspended from Reform UK with immediate effect on 2026-03-04, pending an internal investigation into an allegation that he acted aggressively towards a woman. It is claimed that a witness complaint said he acted so aggressively that security escorted him from the building; Councillor Eardley denies this account. A Reform UK spokesperson said he had been suspended pending investigation. Councillor Eardley posted on X that he first learned of the suspension via social media, said he had not approached the woman and alleged she had approached him, and declined to comment to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
