Ben Bradley mistakenly emailed internal Reform UK dossier to external councillors

Ben Bradley, head of local government delivery at Reform UK, accidentally sent a dossier of internal policy and guidance papers to 12 Reform Island councillors, the Isle of Wight Conservative group leader Ed Blake and six independent councillors. The materials included proposals on reintroducing prayers or the national anthem at council meetings, shifting event funding towards 'Christian/English events', scrapping spending on Net Zero and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion programmes, and guidance on handling media and social media activity. Ed Blake criticised the error as showing incompetence and said the documents undermined confidence in councillors' independence. A Reform UK spokesman said the party supports its councillors to deliver efficiency and good local services and defended its record; Ben Bradley declined to comment. The circulation of internal documents to external councillors has prompted local concern and criticism of the party's approach to local representatives.
