David Terence Mills wrote to council accusing a teacher of partisan advocacy
Category: social media conduct
David Terence Mills wrote to the director of education at Powys County Council alleging that a Brecon High School teacher told pupils the party was "bad", replied "good man" when a pupil agreed, and told pupils the party encourages people to be "mean" to migrants. The letter, which Mills shared on Facebook, asked the council to raise the concern with the school and to review guidance on political impartiality, saying parents should be confident classrooms are not used for partisan advocacy. Mills and Iain Charles McIntosh said they had discussed the matter with James Evans; Powys County Council said it would respond directly to the MSs.
