Derek Roberts shares racist posts and joins misogynistic online abuse

Derek Roberts, a special adviser to Reform UK Senedd Member Gareth Thomas, shared a video of Sarah Cooper-Lesadd on Facebook mocking her appearance, compared her to Theresa May and said she was not made for the screen. He attempted to share the post in several community groups, has repeatedly criticised Cooper-Lesadd since she left Reform UK for Plaid Cymru, and urged people to sign a petition calling for list-elected MSs to vacate their seats if they change parties. Roberts has a documented history of offensive social media posts on Facebook and TikTok, including denigrating Muslims and sharing content that referenced violence at a march.
