Robert Ford expelled by Reform UK after criticism of party leadership

Robert Ford was elected as a Reform UK councillor in Kent in May 2025, was suspended, and was then expelled in October 2025 as one of five councillors removed following a leaked video of the council leader. The party said those expelled had brought it into disrepute, with reporting citing his criticism of what he called its "toxic" and "incompetent" leadership. He later joined Restore Britain with other former Reform UK councillors in Kent, forming a new group on the county council.
