Dan Barker - Board Member | Reform Watch

Dan Barker stood as Reform UK's candidate for mayor of Greater Manchester in May 2024, after leaving the Conservatives in March that year. The BBC's candidate profile described him as a nuclear-industry project manager and magistrate from Sale. His campaign proposals included policing, a brownfield-first housing policy and wider public transport connections across Greater Manchester. His move from Conservative candidature to Reform is part of his cross-party history; standing for mayor is not the same as holding that elected office.
