Daniel Devaney, a Reform UK candidate in Bradford, posted a series of anti-Muslim comments on social media that included calls to "blast" followers of Islam "off the face of the earth" and derogatory descriptions such as calling Muslims "pure scum". Screenshots attributed to posts from 2023–2024 were published by campaign monitoring organisations and were reported by national media during the local election campaign. Devaney apologised after the posts were exposed and the party opened an investigation. The exposure occurred in mid‑April 2026 during the run‑up to local elections in Bradford.

Daniel Devaney, a Reform UK candidate in Bradford, wrote in September 2024 that he wanted to "blast [Muslims] all off the face of the earth" and described Muslims as "pure scum", adding: "We're being invaded by potential terrorists day in day out." The posts openly called for the mass killing of adherents of an entire religion. The remarks were surfaced in HOPE not hate's April 2026 audit of Reform's May 2026 candidate slate. Mark Pack's post-election tracker records that Mr Devaney was subsequently confirmed as no longer a Reform representative, but he had remained on the ticket throughout the campaign despite the posts being publicly available on Facebook.
