In autumn 2025, after a video leaked showing Kent County Council leader Linden Kemkaran shouting and swearing at Reform members, Peter Osborne wrote in a councillors' WhatsApp group: "I'm hoping this mole is a bloke so I can punch him right in the jaw." The leaders of all five opposition groups filed a formal complaint. Kent County Council decided to take no further action, and Reform called the complaint "vexatious".
