Bill Barrett expelled by Reform UK after suspension over leaked video

Bill Barrett, elected for Reform UK on Kent County Council in May 2025, was suspended by the party on suspicion of leaking a video clip of the council leader. He denied being the source of the recording. He was then expelled in October 2025 by email from Reform UK headquarters, which said he and other councillors had undermined the party's interests and brought it into disrepute through criticism of what they called its "toxic" and "incompetent" leadership.
