Chris Parry - Candidate for Mayor of Hampshire and the Solent | Reform Watch

Rear Admiral Chris Parry CBE is a retired Royal Navy officer who served from 1972 to 2008, including in the Falklands War, and was the first chair of the Marine Management Organisation. Reform UK chose him as its candidate for Mayor of Hampshire and the Solent in December 2025. Weeks later it emerged he had posted that David Lammy should "go home to the Caribbean" where his "loyalty lies", called female Cabinet ministers "harpies" and questioned the loyalty of at least eight minority ethnic politicians. Farage kept him on, saying he only needed to apologise. Reform suspended him in March 2026 over separate remarks about a Jewish neighbourhood watch group, and he has since left the party. ITV footage later showed Farage resisting his own communications chief's calls to drop him.
