James Bensly - Councillor for East Flegg, Great Yarmouth Borough Council | Reform Watch

James Bensly represents East Flegg on Great Yarmouth Borough Council. He was elected as a Conservative councillor in 2023 and, in September 2026, resigned the Conservative whip and joined Great Yarmouth First, the local sister group of Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain. Reports said he may have been offered an opportunity to stand as a parliamentary candidate, but Bensly stated that no candidacy had been confirmed.
