Cai Tomos Parry-Jones accused Senedd staff of trying to politically influence children

Cai Tomos Parry-Jones posted images on Facebook of children’s and other books sold in the Senedd shop and accused Senedd Commission staff of attempting to politically influence children. He said the shop was "devoted to left-wing books" and highlighted titles including My Name Is Not Refugee, a children’s adaptation of Black and British, The Climate Book and What Is a Refugee?. The Senedd said the shop’s selection is not intended to promote any particular political viewpoint and that it aims to offer a varied range of titles, and that products are kept under review. The post drew online criticism and follows earlier public complaints by Parry-Jones about being issued two laptops and an optional phone and a separate post mocking an autism-friendly hand-dryer notice; National Autistic Society Cymru said autistic people need understanding and support, not judgement.
