Billboards outside the Conservative Party headquarters in Romford have promoted Andrew Rosindell MP alongside the words "Vote Conservative". Romford Conservatives say they asked Mr Rosindell, who defected to Reform UK in January, to remove the adverts and lodged a complaint with the Electoral Commission, describing the signs as "misleading election communications". Romford Conservatives say Mr Rosindell refused to remove the signs and threatened legal action against anyone attempting to take them down. A Reform UK spokesperson said: "This is a bizarre claim and a sign that the Conservatives are losing touch with reality."

Andrew Rosindell, who was the Conservative MP for Romford before joining Reform UK in January, is pursuing legal action after the local Conservative association changed the locks at Margaret Thatcher House and blocked him from entering his constituency office. His lawyer told the High Court that the MP has been denied access to a private room he used and to premises that contain active constituency casework and sensitive constituent records. The case reached London’s High Court in an emergency injunction hearing, which a judge adjourned after being told the association had been given 90 minutes’ notice. Rosindell is seeking “full and unfettered access, including keys, fobs and security codes.”
