Serving as the Member of Parliament for Romford since 2001, Andrew Rosindell was initially elected as a Conservative MP before defecting to Reform UK in January 2026. He currently serves as Chair of the Petitions Committee in the House of Commons. He has held notable positions including international director of the European Foundation and chairman of both the All Party Parliamentary Flags and Heraldry Committee and the UK's All-Party Parliamentary Group on the British Overseas Territories. Rosindell is known for his socially conservative and Eurosceptic views, having campaigned for Brexit and being one of the original Conservative MPs to oppose Theresa May's Brexit withdrawal agreement in 2019.
