Max Bannerman - MSP for Highlands and Islands (Region) | Reform Watch

Max Bannerman has been a Reform UK Member of the Scottish Parliament for Highlands and Islands since May 2026. Previously a Scottish Conservative, he stood for that party in the 2022 Highland Council election in East Sutherland and Edderton. He was educated at Dornoch Academy and worked as an adviser to former Conservative MSP Jamie Halcro Johnston before joining Reform UK. At Holyrood he serves as the party’s whip and parliamentary business manager, sits on the Parliamentary Bureau and is a member of the Public Service Reform Committee.
