Tabor urged military to attack migrant boats and "cover it up"
Category: offensive
Arnold Tabor, a Reform UK candidate in Wakefield, publicly urged the military to attack migrant boats at sea and "cover it up", writing that the UK needs to "sink the boats and show we are heartless". In separate posts he proposed placing refugees in a "huge walled workhouse city" with "no pay only a roof over their head and two meals a day", conditions the report likened to slavery. The comments, surfaced in HOPE not hate's April 2026 audit of Reform's candidate list, advocated extrajudicial killing and forced labour but did not lead to his removal from the party's ticket for the 7 May 2026 elections. Reform had publicly promised its vetting was "the best in the country".
